Reminder: No lessons for 2 weeks over winter break. Next lesson is on January 7.

All Songs
– practice starting from different sections
– work on recovering from glitches
– keep a steady rhythm

Sonatina
– work on playing through with a steady beat
> no pauses, no double starts
– whenever there is a rhythm/note glitch, mark the spot with a pencil
> check to see if the glitches are consistent
> be careful that the marks don’t “lead” you into a mistake

Fluttering Leaves
– add dynamics

Game of Patience
– make sure to play all staccatos
– work on a lighter, tone and “floppier” hand/wrist

Les Carillons
– finish learning Hands Separately
– try to start working on Hands Together

Start working through your theory book
– look at picking up the Grade 6 theory book

Technique
– work on  finishing everything
