Scales
– nice work on major keys!
– make sure there are no holes (missing notes) – press the keys to the bottom
– work on minor keys – make sure there are no double starts or “figuring out” the scale as you play
– add dynamics
– play chromatic scales 2 octaves
– for exercise only
> practice all staccato
> practice playing on the black keys with your fingertips

Chords
– leading-tone diminished 7ths
> make sure the notes in solid form play and sound exactly together
> work on being able to play the technique immediately without needing to figure out the notes beforehand
> practice playing on the fingertips to improve accuracy

– nice improvement!
– bar 17 and 19
> play the accents more strongly
> play the staccatos
> don’t accent the second note of the two-note slur
– bar 13 & 15 – lift LH for the two-note slur
– bar 14 & 16 – play sharper staccatos in LH
– bar 12 – check notes
– bar 9 – 12 – try detaching the LH
– bar 1 & 2, 5 & 6 make sure the bottom note plays in your LH
– bar 3 – 4, 7 – 8 – play the accents in LH more
