Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

– try writing your arrangement down on paper

C-major scale
– check your Left Hand fingering
– work on Hands Together for 2 octaves

C-major triad
– practice solid/blocked in 2 beats – 1. set your fingers on the correct notes, 2. play
– play broken form with a steady rhythm
– keep your 5th fingers curved when they play
– for now, work on minimizing hand and finger movement when playing – be careful not to stray too far from the keys or change wrist elevation

Pick 1 or 2 songs to use to learn chording

147 How Clear the Call of Jesus
– be careful with pedaling – make sure to change the pedal cleanly during the chord changes
– after practicing Hands Separately, add the other hand
> for playing the Right Hand, play single notes in your Left Hand according to the chord written above the staff
> for playing the Left Hand, play triads in your Right Hand according to the chord written above the staff
