Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Carol of the Bells
– try to keep your hand relaxed for the E-type scale in order to play evenly
– check your Right Hand fingering for the E-type scale (cross under with your thumb)
– work on playing the E-type scale on time with the rest of the song (faster)
– try playing an octave higher on the piano
– try adding pedal
Frosty the Snowman
– good job on the Left Hand!
– bar 14 and 15 – watch which Right Hand notes that your Left Hand plays with, be careful not to switch too early
– try to finish learning the rest of the song
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
– bar 1 – try playing the first notes by itself in your Right Hand and join in with your Left Hand on “wish”
– try to add Left Hand – check where the Left Hand switches
– bar 9 – play C in your Left Hand

– for your Left Hand, try these notes – C, G, F, A
– note: you can repeat the same letter in your Left Hand if you like the sound of it
