– nice work on 1 octave!
– practice 2 octaves, Hands Separately from now on
– keep your wrist at the same vertical level as you play
– try to maintain a natural hand position with cupped palm and curved fingers as you play
– let your thumb cross under your hand instead of moving your wrist
Jingle Bells
– nice work on the up beat style!
– for the C7 – in your Right Hand try to play G-Bb-C
– bar 23 – for your Left Hand play D > E > F > F# on beat 1 > 2 > 3 > 4

– G7 = D-F-G
– for bar 4, in your Right Hand try to play EG > C > FA > EG on “soul”
C-major Triad
– work on playing your Left Hand solid with a steady rhythm
– try to keep your 5th fingers curved as they play
– work on playing faster
– be careful – don’t hold the notes too long after they play, just enough to play legato
Russian Dance
– you can count 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 instead of 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 for 4/4 time signatures, but be aware of the differences in counting that will come up
