The Two Parrots (CC pg13)
– learn the notes and work on confidence
– try to play with a steady rhythm
– use correct fingering
– bar 9 – watch out for the treble clef for your Left Hand
– bar 13 – watch for the switch back to the bass clef for your Left Hand

Dinosaur Disco (CS pg25)
– check fingering
– work on playing Hands Separately with a steady rhythm
– count the dotted quarter – eighth rhythm
– check Right Hand notes for skips
– make sure your fingers are on the notes you think they should be on

Scales – C+,G+,a-,e-
– nice work on C-major and G-major
– work on the last octave for a-minor natural
– practice a-minor harmonic form (play G-sharp)
– use correct fingering for e-minor
– syncopated – lead with the Right Hand or Left Hand

C-major triad
– make sure all the notes are played
– don’t repeat the top notes for solid form
– play the correct notes for the second octave
– correct fingering in your Right Hand
> use 1-2-5 for E-G-C
– practice solid form in 2 beats
– practice broken form slowly – make sure all the notes play correctly and cleanly
