– awesome work!
– use correct fingering for double notes (LH thumb on G)
– practice Hands Separately for 2 octaves

– make sure you are playing the correct notes
> check the circled spots in the music
– bar 2 and 6
> play “G” in your Right Hand
> repeat until you can play easily
> make sure your fingers are on the correct notes
– bar 3 and 7
> use correct rhythm for the eighth notes in your Right Hand
Alouette
– count out loud for bar 1, 3 and 8
– play the correct notes in Bar 4
– try to memorize for next lesson
– add dynamics (louds, softs, crescendos and diminuendos)
London Bridge
– practice naming the notes – make sure you are playing the correct letters
– check which fingers to use on the notes (watch the numbers written above the notes)
– place your Right Hand thumb on the letter “D”, don’t move your hand and reach with your thumb to play the “C” at the end
Review reading letters on the staff:
– read from the bottom to the top on the staff
– the first letter in each word is the letter on that line or space
