Lavender’s Blue
– nice improvement!
– try to play without pausing
– correct the circled notes
– hold the quarter notes for their full count

Warrior Dance
– check how many times the Left Hand plays by itself
– make sure to check where the Left Hand and Right Hand play together

Scarecrow Scramble
– remember: the numbers written over top of notes usually means finger numbers to use
– practice Hands Separately
– count out loud – make sure to hold quarter notes for the full beat

C+ scale
– remember that your Right Hand first finger (thumb) plays on “F”
– check your Left Hand, make sure to play on the fingertips
> be careful not to “collapse” your 3rd finger

Finger Exercise
– press your 1st finger and thumb together as hard as you can for 5 seconds
> make sure to keep your 1st finger curved
> stretch out your fingers after
– repeat the exercise 4 more times with your 2nd finger, 3rd, 4th and 5th

– play each bar 5 – 10 times
