– practice Hands Together for 2 octaves

– continue to practice Hands Together for 1 octave
– use swing rhythm for 2 octaves Hands Separately
New Scale – c-minor
– it uses the same fingering as C-major
C-D-Eb-F-G-Ab-B-C
Triads
– practice slowly and try to play with a steady rhythm
Canon Exercise
C-G-A-E-F-C-F-G
– Right Hand plays Triads (C-E-G)
– Left Hand Plays single notes
– try using different rhythms and patterns (eg. playing your Right Hand broken instead of solid)
Phantom of the Opera
– practice slowly and try to keep the rhythm steady with no pauses
– check the notes in bar 7
– bar 12 – check Left Hand note “E”
– bar 14 – remember the rest
> Left Hand plays by itself on the first beat and the Right Hand plays on the second beat
– bar 17 – 18 – check how many “A’s” your Left Hand plays
– try adding some pedal to the ending
