Moonlight Sonata

– continue to drill bar 10-14
– hold down the left pedal for the whole song (or at least the first 4 bars)
– try adding right pedal to the first 4 bars, change the pedal whenever your Left Hand changes notes
> when using the right pedal, plant your heel and push the pedal around the ball of your foot
– bar 1 – start softer and gradually get louder
– bar 2 – play louder and gradually get softer
– bar 3 – gradually get louder
– bar 4 – gradually get softer and slow down
– bar 5 – have a slight pause before playing the first notes and then go right back to regular speed

Continue to practice:
– C-major triad
– C-major scale
– a-blues scale
> a-c-d-Eb-e-g-a
