La Cha-Cha pg50
– bar 10 – check Left Hand notes
– try to play sharper staccatos
– remember to lift off of rests
– work on playing with a steady rhythm and no pauses
– check where to play forte’s and piano’s

In My Dreams pg53
– work on playing with the metronome

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
– bar 7 – let your 5th finger slide up the F key to make it easier for your thumb to play on the A-flat
– practice up to bar 9 Hands Together
– continue to work on singing the melody onto the new part on page 2

C-major scale
– remember to play on your fingertips
– for your Left Hand, keep your elbow in when your thumb crosses underneath your hand

C-major triad
– nice work!
– for your Right Hand, make sure to play legato between inversions in broken
– for broken, try to keep your wrists slightly raised – don’t let them dip below the keyboard deck
> play on your fingertips for a lighter sound – little to no weight on your wrists

a-minor harmonic scale
– nice work!
– practice 2 octaves, Hands Separately
– check your Left Hand fingering

Heart and Soul chords

– play around with different rhythms and patterns
– original pattern – 2 left hand notes – 2 right hand triads using a swing rhythm
