Sentences and word to memorize to help with learning letters on the staff:
Treble Clef
Lines E-G-B-D-F = Elephants Go Break Dancing Fridays
Spaces (they spell this word) – FACE
Bass Clef
Lines G-B-D-F-A = Green Bananas Dance For Apples
Spaces A-C-E-G = All Cows Eat Grass
Jingle Bells
– focus on practicing section B (look for the B in the box on the fifth line, bar 17) – “Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells”
– try to learn the notes for the beginning over break
– bar 24 – remember to play “D” first in your Right Hand
– bar 31 – remember to play 2 “G’s” in your Right Hand
Carol of the Bells
– check where the Left Hand plays
> it starts in the Treble Clef and moves to the Bass Clef in bar 24
– practice naming the letters in your Left Hand
– try learning to the end of the song
Keep track of your practicing
– mark down how many times you practice during the week
– mark down how many minutes you practice each time
Continue to practice:

– Frosty the Snowman (sheet)
– Silent Night (sheet)
– scales
