Start working on Starman Theme (sheet)
– practice slowly to build up coordination
– practice Hands Separately

Try composing a song in d position
(D-A-D-G-etc.)

The Legend of Zelda
– remember to move your Left Hand for the intro
– bar 5 – remember to play the C#
– double check your notes – make sure your hand is playing the same notes you think they’re playing from the sheet
– bar 15 – 18 – make sure to play all the notes in your Left Hand
– bar 21 – watch the note change in your Left Hand
– try to keep a steady rhythm throughout with no pauses

Coffin Dance sheet
– try to make up an ending for the song

Crab Rave
– be careful
> make sure to play all the notes in your Right Hand when playing Hands Together (D and E)
> with your Left Hand timing

Never Gonna Give You Up
– practice Left Hand
– check the Right Hand notes
– work on playing with a steady rhythm in your Right Hand

Continue to practice Scales and Triads
(same as last lesson)

Scales – C+, G+
– be careful with your fingering on the way down
– when playing faster, make sure your hands play exactly together
– practice D+
D-E-F#-G-A-B-C#-D
> same fingering as C+
– work on a-minor, both harmonic and melodic
– work on a-blues scale for 2 octaves, Hands Separately

Triads
– work on note accuracy (especially playing down)
– make sure you play all the notes, especially the 5th fingers
– don’t give up partway through – try to play accurately and evenly all the way to the end
