– continue to practice 1 octave Hands Together
> work on playing a bit faster
– practice 2 octaves Hands Separately

My Birthday Party

Row, Row, Row Your Boat
– work on playing with a steady rhythm with no pauses
– continue to count out loud
– watch out for ties
> make sure to play all the notes in your Left Hand, but not the Tie notes
– put an “X” through all the Tied notes that are not played

I’m a Little Teapot
– practice counting out loud
– work on playing Hands Together

Practice I am Happy, I am Sad

Flat – play the note immediately lower (left) of the note it is written in front of

Triad
– play C-E-G at the same time and play up one octave
> Right Hand – use finger 1-3-5
> Left Hand – use finger 5-3-1

Continue to practice
– Note find ear exercise
>  don’t look at the piano and have someone play a note on the piano between middle C and treble G
>  try to find the note after it has been played
