– make sure to keep the rhythm the same
> if playing even, make sure to stay even rhythm
> if playing swing, make sure to stay swing rhythm
– keep your hand and wrist relaxed
– try to curve your fingers a bit more
– play around with different fingerings on the notes

Happy Birthday

– continue using your ear to find Happy Birthday in the remaining keys
– repeat until confident in the keys (no fishing around for notes at the lesson)
– good work playing around with a jazzy version for Bb and G
> sliding on notes can be done quickly, or using a swing rhythm
