September 28 Lesson Notes

C+ Scale – practice single staccato and double staccato (play each note twice) – keep a steady rhythm throughout – play the staccatos as sharply as you can
Try to practice G+ and D+ as well
C+ Triad – remember to hold solid a bit longer – for solid – play in 2 beats – 1. move and prepare your fingers on the notes 2. play the notes – work on broken
Sparkle – awesome work! – try to play your RH all evenly – continue working on the rest of the first page (plus bar 1 of the second page) – count out loud – remember that quarter notes are worth 2 counts in this time signature –  finish playing the LH rolled chords on the first note of the RH
